About Marchon

A Multi- Faceted Recording Artist

Marchon Hamilton II is a professional recording artist and entertainer. As a vocalist, he is an eclectic lyric baritone with a wide range who holds a smooth, relaxing, yet melodious voice that will sooth and comfort any audience. He accepted Christ at the tender age of 5 years old and like many of today’s successful vocalists, Marchon cultivated his love for christian/ gospel music in the local church. He is a graduate of the world renowned Oral Roberts University and during his tenure their served as worship leader, choir director and member of “The Oral Roberts TV Singers” performing daily on the internationally televised show “The Hour of Healing.” One of the highlights of his tenure at ORU was co-producing O.R.U.’s “Souls A' Fire’s” second album during the choir’s 50+ year existence.

Marchon has shared the stage with some of the top names in the christian & gospel music industry. Some of which includes: Marvin Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Tramaine Hawkins, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tye Tribett, Jonathan Nelson, Byron Cage and a long list of others. His gift has taken him upon stages to minister internationally in places such as the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Canada, and Mexico.

When asked his mission, Elder Marchon Hamilton II proudly states, “My mission is to empower a fearless millennial generation of young adults using my gifts of public speaking, music, entertainment, and more to lead them into positive social, academic and career pursuits as well as spiritual maturity.”

As a well respected leader, Marchon serves the community in many ways and was recently awarded the Imani Faith Award (2017 & 2018) by the University at Buffalo Black Student Union for his work and contribution to the University at Buffalo campus community. He currently serves as a Campus Minister at the University at Buffalo where he was officially appointed unto the Campus Ministry Association in 2014. Marchon is an ordained Elder since 2007, and faithfully serves as an Assistant Pastor at Abundant Life in Christ Ministries.

Marchon has served as a mentor and educator to youth and young adults for over 15 years and in 2017 started a mentorship organization called Guy Talk, specifically to promote and support the educational advancement and life and social skill development of men of color in higher education. During the past year, Guy Talk has been featured twice in The Challenger, WNY’s largest black owned news periodical. Elder Marchon holds his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Oral Roberts University and his Master of Science in Higher Education from Canisius College. He is determined to use his musical gift and talents to positively impact lives globally.

In 2006, Marchon earned his Bachelor of Science in Management at Oral Roberts University. In 2010, Marchon was commissioned to be ordained into the ministry as an elder of the church. He has served over 4 years inside of high schools and local colleges helping youth to successfully complete high school, find employment, and advance into higher education. In 2012, Marchon completed his Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. 

He is surely callled to do a great work as a man of influence in today's world!
